MUSIC NEWS:

Let’s dance. Why? Because it’s snowing where I live and I kinda don’t really want it to snow. I like snow. I just don’t want snow right now. I kinda want it to rain a little bit in the morning and then be kinda nice for awhile then rain a little bit in the late afternoon. That’s kinda where I’m at right now. But whatever. We are here to dance, not to read my weather dreams.

Hot Chip’s new video is weird. It’s also why I don’t play video games anymore. I just don’t understand them. I mean, I get football and I get making out but I don’t really get the objective of combining the two in to a game. How do you score points? Is it even a point based game? I just don’t know. I’ll stick with chess.

Hot Chip’s video for “Don’t Deny Your Heart:”

Weird.

Villagers have released a great new video for the track “Nothing Arrived.” It’s great. It’s sad and it’s great. It’s the story of a lonely. That’s about it. But even though that’s about it, it’s still a very good video. Let’s watch:

Villagers’ “Nothing Arrived” video:

And you know what? We have another video from Villagers for the same song. Here is a video of the band performing the track in a studio like atmosphere:

Good song. Even good twice in a row.

Yes. The Rolling Stones released a NSFW video. Luckily The Rolling Stones themselves aren’t the ones that make this video NSFW. Apparently they convinced some actress chick to dance around naked in their new video for the song “Doom and Gloom.” What I find most interesting in this video is not the naked girl but the fact that the video never actually shows Ron Wood playing the guitar parts he’s allegedly playing. Every time it cuts to him so he can “play” his part he turns the guitar so you can’t actually see what he’s playing. Funny. Alien Ant Farm use to do the same thing because their guitar player couldn’t play the parts either. Just sayin’.

The Rolling Stones’ video for “Doom And Gloom:”

Whatever.

Do you like car racing but do you also like indie rock? Well, you are probably in a small demographic there but, you know, maybe not. Who knows? No one. No one knows. No one knows anything so why are we even talking about it? We are talking about it because Hospitality’s new video for the track “Eighth Avenue” has car racing in it! And tears. Lots of tears.

Hospitality’s video for “Eighth Avenue:”

She’s sad.

This Way Back Wednesday comes as a request. This LCD Soundsystem video is typically outside even the “Way Back” window (because it came out in 2007) but damn the rules! This is a good song and this is a pretty decent video so let’s all watch it and remember how great LCD Soundsystem were.

LCD Soundsystem’s video for “All My Friends:”

Damn LCD Soundsystem for breaking up.
